Meet Your Hosts: Paul & Shelby
We’ve been visiting Cabo for many years, drawn to its stunning beaches, world-class restaurants, vibrant local culture, and the warmth of its people. In 2015 we made our first visit to Cabo San Lucas. In 2019 we were married on Pedregal Beach. In 2022, we spent six incredible weeks working remotely from the Portofino condo complex. The breathtaking ocean views, proximity to downtown, and luxurious amenities made it impossible to leave.
Why We Love Cabo & Pedregal
The Pedregal neighborhood, where Portofino is located, captured our hearts. The beautiful cobblestone streets, private Pedregal beach, and stunning homes nestled in this exclusive community create a setting that feels both tranquil and luxurious.
One of our favorite things is the convenience of walking to Cabo’s best restaurants, coffee shops, and the lively Marina. A typical day for us might start with a walk to the Marina for breakfast, followed by a boat ride to El Arco and a beach day at Lover’s Beach, before ending the day with cocktails at Medano Beach at one of the many beachfront restaurants and bars.

Why We Chose Pedregal
Pedregal is one of the most exclusive and luxurious neighborhoods in the world, and it's easy to see why it attracts many celebrities. What we love most is the balance of privacy and proximity to everything Cabo has to offer.
Our condo offers stunning views of the Sea of Cortez, but one of our favorite things to do is take a stroll behind the property, up over the hill, where you’ll pass some of the most spectacular mansions while soaking in views of the Pacific Ocean.
The walk ends at Pedregal Beach, a private, pristine stretch of sand exclusive to residents of our gated community. It’s a serene, miles-long beach that feels like heaven on earth—perfect for a peaceful walk or a day of sunbathing.
Pedregal offers more than just beautiful scenery. With its private desalination plant, 24-hour security, tennis courts, and even a café by the beach, it’s a self-contained oasis in the heart of Cabo. Plus, the location is unbeatable—it’s the best spot in Cabo, offering luxury, security, and accessibility all in one.
